■ MY YEAR OF DICKS

My Year of Dicks is a genre-mashing, romantic, comedic animated short film created and written by Pamela Ribon, directed by Sara Gunnarsdóttir, and produced by Jeanette Jeanenne for FX Networks. It was nominated for the 95th Academy Awards for Best Animated Short Film.

SYNOPSIS: An imaginative fifteen year-old is stubbornly determined to lose her virginity despite the pathetic pickings in the outskirts of Houston in the early 90’s. This charming, animated, retro-romantic-comedy pulls no punches with its female-forward look at sexual awakening.

Commissioned by FX Networks for CAKE.
